We just got tickets for the Gator by the Bay Zydeco, Blues Festival in San Diego, May 9 - 12. It's a huge festival with a great line up of bands, venues and lots of dance lessons. 3 day Festival pass is $75. We are going to dance, dance, dance. I am very excited to learn Zydeco basics and what ever else they are offering. Tom Rigney & Flambeau play a lot of Zydeco at the SV Jazz Festival and we have a new Zydeco band ' Gator Nation' coming this year. We are getting ready to have even more fun on the dance floor.

Class is from 7 - 8pm, no experience or partner needed.

Get inspired, try something new - sign up for the Basics of Swing DancZen workshop that starts Tuesday, March 4th.  Four 2 hour classes that will give you all the moves to go out and have fun on the dance floor.

BASICS OF SWING DANCZEN at Studio Move*

Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:30 - 8:30pm
Put the Rock in your Roll and dance to Contemporary, Big Band, Classic Rock & Modern Jive. Easy reflection exercises begin with the simplest of rocking back and rolling to the side. Leaders will learn how to initiate the movement and rely on the Follower's momentum to 'get in to the swing'. A variety of moves, turns, and expressions give you what you need to get out onto the dance floor and boogie together.
 Pre-registration & Payment required. 
$80 per person for all 4 classes. 
$70 per person for repeat Basics of Swing DancZen participants
